Where To Buy Chanel Foundation
Partial to a matte finish? Machhausen believes this to be just the ticket, even if you have oily skin. Chanel recommends applying this sheer-to-medium coverage foundation with your fingers to blur the look of pores and imperfections as a result of the infused semi-transparent powders.

Foundation is one of my favorite makeup categories, (coming in second, only to lipstick) and it's also one where I find you really do get what you pay for when switching from drugstore to high-end. Not to say there aren't some great drugstore foundations (check out a drugstore foundation comparison I did HERE) but high-end foundations last longer, look more natural, and are usually better for your skin. That being said, they can get pretty pricey, and there are so many of them!
I tested several high-end foundations before deciding on buying the CHANEL Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation. I had pretty much made up my mind when my mother complimented me on "how healthy my skin looked" almost every single time I wore it! Even though it's $60, it's worth every penny! It has a medium, but bulidable coverage, and sits a bit middle-of-the-road in terms of finish. It's not quite matte, but not quite dewy either. You can definitely play up either finish depending on what primer you use under it! (I recommend the BECCA Backlight Primer for a glowy/dewy finish, and Benefit Porefessional for matte). An added bonus particularly for fair girls, is it's SPF 25 (woot!) to keep those sun-rays off skin every single day.
The packaging is very luxurious and sturdy, with a frosted glass bottle, pump for dispensing the foundation, and a cap with the CHANEL logo on top. There are 14 shades in the range, though it definitely does cater to fairer skin tones (THANK YOU CHANEL) I use the shade R12, and use 1-2 pumps depending on the coverage I want that day. It blends beautifully with my Real Techniques buffing brush, but works great just with fingers too!
Luxurious, and high-end brands such as CHANEL always bring along a certain kind of expectations, and this foundation truly exceeded my very strict and high expectations, so much so that it is one that I will likely repurchase in the future despite the price tag.
This is a lesson I learned the hard way from my own experience. From my own observation, this is how CHANEL categorizes their foundation shades (applies to VitaLumiere Aqua and Perfection Lumiere Foundation range):
I have a pretty rigorous/demanding daily schedule which often requires me to be out of the house for 10-12 hours, and I hate doing touch-ups during the day. It does not oxidize, transfer or become patchy throughout the day; The foundation actually looks better at the end of the day than it did in the morning. Most importantly, at the end of the day, the foundation looks very much like skin.
The CHANELPerfection Lumiere Foundation dries to a semi-matte finish that looks incredibly natural-looking with a luminous glow. Once dry, the creamy foundation transforms into a powder-like finish that does not require the use of setting powder.
Definitely not, particularly when you look at the price point. I adore this foundation and it has joined my HG list which includes the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation and the Laura Mercier Silk Creme. Despite the fact that the price point is similar to most high-end foundations (i.e. same price as the Laura Mercier Silk Creme but still less expensive than the Guerlain Lingerie de Peau or Givenchy Teint Couture Foundation), it is hard to find CHANEL products eligible for promotions anywhere.
Finding the right colour is undoubtedly the biggest challenge, especially if you intend to buy your foundation online. A good idea is to look at the colour of your current foundation. If it comes from a well-known brand, there are often an online converter that will tell you which colour of one brand best matches another. Here is one example of [such converter](( ).

Brush, sponge, beauty blender, or fingers. There are many ways to apply foundation. Some need to be applied in a certain way: a powder foundation, for example, will need a kabuki brush, or the like.
However, you can try out different methods to find your preferred application method if you use a liquid foundations. Many people prefer to use their fingers, not least because the skin temperature warms it up and makes a liquid foundation a little easier to apply. But if you don't want your hands to get dirty, we recommend a foundation brush or a beauty blender for an even and beautiful result.

Chanel offers a wide range of foundations. The options range from cream, liquid, powder, serum, and water-based foundations. The shades are too many to count, so you will undoubtedly find what suits your skin tone best. However, if you are still unsure if you can find the best Chanel foundation, here are some tips to guide you throughout your journey.
Knowing your undertone is essential in choosing the perfect foundation shade. Take note that, unlike your skin complexion, your undertone is unchanging. So, if you want to get the shade that perfectly suits your natural skin color, you should determine your undertone first!
Of course, you have to match your foundation with your skin type. Having dry or oily skin will significantly narrow down your choices for a foundation. Always look at the ingredients before buying. If you have oily skin, it is ideal if you look for and purchase an oil-free powder or liquid foundation.
If you have an uneven skin complexion, you can opt to buy foundations that have full or medium coverage. However, if your skin complexion is relatively even, you can look for a foundation that offers light or sheer coverage.
This Chanel foundation offers a total of 17 shades with light-to-medium coverage. This foundation will also live up to your taste if you are into scents. It has a fragrant yet subtle fresh fragrance. Aside from its scent, its SPF 15 will give your skin the UVB protection it needs for the whole day.
You can apply and blend your fingertips evenly on your face. Then, set it with a powder to last longer. When I use this foundation, I also top it with my favorite bronzer and a warmer pink or peach shade of blush to have a more sunny-tanned look. Instant summer vibes, it is!
It contains light-reflecting pigments to help enhance radiance and conceal skin imperfections. It is easily blendable, so you can make it work with other shades of foundation. I usually use this foundation if I want to go for a more sophisticated yet sexy look.
If you are looking for a cream foundation that will give you a naturally luminous look, Chanel Sublimage Le Teint is the one for you. I like its formula because it does not feel very heavy on the skin while still giving me the light-to-medium coverage I need. It looks so natural that it looks like your actual blemish-free skin.
Now, if you are looking for a Chanel foundation with a velvet-smooth matte finish, the Chanel Ultra Le Teint Velvet is the one for you. It has 13 different shades you can choose from. It comes in a small black squeeze bottle, making it easier to control the amount of foundation you will use.
Interestingly, the longer it stays on the face, the more it looks and feels beautiful on your skin. This is probably its best feature since most matte foundations oxidize and darken once they are fully dry on your skin.
Now, this Chanel foundation may spark some questions on whether it is a legit foundation or not, but let me first explain to you why it made my list. For a $65 foundation with 75 percent water, I had doubts about it too. I admit that I have extremely dry skin, so I need foundations that give me hydration and moisture. However, I thought spending that much money on a product with almost nothing but water was useless. I was wrong, though.
If you want a reliable foundation that offers light-to-medium coverage and creates a radiant bare-skin effect, this Chanel foundation is the one for you. It has a patented MicroFluidic Technology, which will give your face a burst of freshness and hydration for up to 8 hours.
This Chanel Number One Revitalizing Foundation also tops my list of the best Chanel foundation. Perfect for those with mature skin, this offers moisturizing properties that help your skin look plumper and healthier. I like its buildable coverage and luminous finish.
With its on-the-go packaging, you can enjoy the convenience of applying or retouching your foundation anytime, anywhere. Touch-ups are made simpler, restoring a long-lasting healthy glow and freshness all day long.
This Chanel collection is the first made-for-men cosmetics line, including a matte moisturizing lip balm, an eyebrow pencil, and a tinted foundation. This foundation, like all other Chanel foundations, feels nice on the skin as it does not feel heavy and overpowering on my skin. 041b061a72
